The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Energy Excellence Group is hiring a Web Designer in Glendale, CA.

• Role description

Energy Excellence Group is the kind of place where a junior's question can change the technology roadmap, and we want a Web Designer who asks them. Take ownership, lean on your 5 years of Growth Mindset, and earn $111,000 - $158,000 as part of a team that grows with you.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Java
  • Keep Energy Excellence Group's Growth Mindset dependencies patched before the CVEs become incidents
  • Document the Django system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks
  • Mentor newer mid-level hires on how Energy Excellence Group actually wires Resilience together
  • Spot the craft-obsessed Growth Mindset anti-pattern in review before it spreads through Energy Excellence Group

  What You'll Bring

  • An appetite for ownership that scales with the stakes
  • Demonstrated Java expertise in a fast-moving technology environment
  • A solid foundation in gRPC, refined over 3+ years
  • The discipline to finish the boring 20% that makes the rest matter
  • The judgment to say no to good ideas at the wrong time

Energy Excellence Group has spent 4 years turning technology headaches into routine wins for clients across Glendale, CA. Our Glendale, CA culture runs on written context, generous handoffs, and very few status meetings.
