The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Advisory Excellence LLC is hiring a Unity Developer in Grand Island, NE.

• Role description

Our next Unity Developer will spend less time in meetings and more time in Strategic Planning, which is how Advisory Excellence LLC prefers to operate. Sized right for 1 years of Interpersonal Skills, this NE role pays $51,000 - $80,000 and opens a path you actually want to walk.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Ship gRPC experiments fast, kill the losers, and double down on what sticks
  • Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Strategic Planning
  • Translate fuzzy product wishes from Advisory Excellence LLC stakeholders into shippable Docker services
  • Wire Jenkins APIs to Ruby consumers so data lands where Grand Island teams expect it
  • Prototype rough Strategic Planning ideas fast, then decide which earn a place in Advisory Excellence LLC's stack
  • Ship the no-ego Jenkins features that move Advisory Excellence LLC's technology roadmap forward
  • Catch the Docker race conditions that only surface under Grand Island peak traffic
  • Document technical decisions, architecture, and APIs for the broader org

  What You'll Bring

  • Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
  • A track record of trust-the-team delivery in a freelance structure
  • Fluency across gRPC and Ruby, with strong opinions on both
  • An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent
  • Pattern recognition earned across many technology engagements

Advisory Excellence LLC blends gRPC and Ruby into technology products that feel, in the safety-first words of its Grand Island, NE founders, inevitable. We build psychological safety the boring way: by actually following through on what we say.

We hand you $51,000 - $80,000, a growth plan, a mentor, and benefits, then let you flex your week to fit Grand Island the way you like.
