The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Dollar General is hiring a Technical Product Manager in Lorain, OH.

• Role description

Dollar General has outgrown gut-feel planning, and this Technical Product Manager opening in Lorain is how we fix that. The Lorain role is less about the $76,000 - $124,000 and more about what 8 years of Work Ethic lets you own at Dollar General.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer and sales data to surface actionable trends
  • Build the pricing logic that a temporary sales rep can explain in one breath
  • Mentor junior analysts and elevate the team's analytical rigor
  • Run the comparison that ends the build-versus-partner debate for good
  • Partner with finance, marketing, and product to align on shared business outcomes
  • Champion process improvements that scale with Dollar General growth
  • Convert a deeply-curious hunch into a tested hypothesis the board can weigh
  • Turn a fiercely-supportive board mandate into work the business team can start Monday

  What You'll Bring

  • Pattern recognition earned across many business engagements
  • 6+ years building trust the slow, unglamorous way
  • Flexibility to adapt your approach as business needs evolve
  • A solid foundation in Work Ethic, refined over 7+ years

Dollar General keeps business systems running for clients who never think about them, which is the calmly-fast-moving Lorain, OH point. Curiosity outranks credentials on this business team, so bring questions, not just answers.

We hand you $76,000 - $124,000, a growth plan, a mentor, and benefits, then let you flex your week to fit Lorain the way you like.

The freshness clock just ticked over, and this Technical Product Manager slot stays open.
