The opportunity timeline

• Overview

AMD is hiring a Systems Administrator in Winston-Salem, NC.

• Role description

We built this Systems Administrator role around momentum, so if you pair Innovation with Collaboration, AMD will get out of your way. This Winston-Salem opening trades 3 years and Collaboration for $56,000 - $75,000, then layers on the ownership most listings only hint at.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Keep your Innovation edge sharp as the NC market shifts
  • Meet established deadlines while upholding AMD quality standards
  • Find the agile workaround when the official path is blocked
  • Map the handoffs between NC teams so nothing falls in the cracks
  • Deliver oddball-friendly results that align with broader business objectives
  • Make peace with data-driven ambiguity and ship anyway
  • Keep AMD's contract commitments visible and on track
  • Read the room and adjust how you pitch Strategic Planning to each audience

  What You'll Bring

  • Comfort being measured against a clear mid-level bar
  • A solid foundation in Change Management, refined over 5+ years
  • The integrity to flag your own mistakes first
  • Self-direction that survives a quiet Slack channel
  • Comfort owning the unglamorous middle of a contract project

At the heart of AMD is a client-centric belief that great general software should feel effortless. Our NC team treats transparency as a feature, sharing the messy middle, not just the wins.

Open with $56,000 - $75,000, grow your Innovation under a mentor, lean on full benefits, and flex your hours the way grown-ups should.

Still hiring, still current, still waiting for someone like you.
