The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Accenture is hiring a Sourcing Specialist in St. Louis, MO.

• Role description

On any given day, the Sourcing Specialist at Accenture juggles Prioritization and Negotiation, and somehow makes both look deliberate. This is a temporary opportunity built for someone who wants to own outcomes, sharpen Team Leadership, and grow with a tight-knit team.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Partner sideways with teams who rarely sit in the same room
  • Keep a steady hand on Accenture accounts when volume spikes
  • Identify gaps in current procedures and recommend workable fixes
  • Follow safety protocols and best practices at all times
  • Keep MO reporting accurate enough to bet decisions on

  What You'll Bring

  • A relentlessly curious attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
  • The reflex to surface risk before it surfaces itself
  • A communicator who writes the meeting recap nobody asked for but everyone reads
  • A point of view, held loosely and defended well
  • Hands-on familiarity with Goal Setting, sharpened by Prioritization side projects

Every product at Accenture reflects the proudly-nerdy standards our St. Louis, MO team holds itself to. We keep our process light so engineers can spend their energy on Team Leadership and Goal Setting, not bureaucracy.
