The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Entertainment Advantage Inc is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer in Norman, OK.

• Role description

The Site Reliability Engineer we're hiring will inherit a technology codebase with good bones and a few skeletons; Entertainment Advantage Inc is honest about both. A contract Site Reliability Engineer role that values ownership over busywork, pays $64,000 - $99,000, and invests in your long-term growth.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate, diagnose, and fix bugs reported by users and monitoring tools
  • Turn vague technology tickets into crisp, testable AWS acceptance criteria
  • Chase down the Istio integration that silently drops Entertainment Advantage Inc events at midnight
  • Decode the undocumented AWS service nobody at Entertainment Advantage Inc remembers writing
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
  • Defend Entertainment Advantage Inc uptime through the 2 a.m. Norman pages nobody volunteers for

  What You'll Bring

  • Comfort owning the unglamorous middle of a contract project
  • Knowledge of OK-specific regulations relevant to technology work
  • Hands-on proficiency with AWS Lambda, ideally paired with Istio
  • Hands-on familiarity with PagerDuty, sharpened by Istio side projects
  • The composure to deliver bad news early and clearly

Entertainment Advantage Inc grew up alongside its customers, scaling from a single Norman room into the technology partner much of OK now trusts. Decisions at Entertainment Advantage Inc come with a name attached, because ownership without accountability is just noise.

Joining us means $64,000 - $99,000, a clear promotion ladder, paid family leave, and mentors invested in your success.
