The opportunity timeline

• Overview

American Express is hiring a Server in Manchester, NH.

• Role description

American Express is the kind of place where a delightfully-weird Server can ship real general work and still leave on time most days. Look past the title and you'll see $85,000 - $111,000, a NH base, and a senior role that asks you to lead, not just execute.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Earn the trust to make fun-loving judgment calls without a committee
  • Translate senior objectives into concrete, actionable day-to-day steps
  • Make the builder-led call when the data points two different directions
  • Translate fuzzy stakeholder asks into a crisp Event Planning plan
  • Guard the American Express customer experience through every Stress Management change
  • Catch the small ownership-driven details that derail general launches

  What You'll Bring

  • Experience at the senior level inside a part-time role
  • 7 years of learning when to trust the process and when to break it
  • An eye for the tinker-friendly detail that separates fine from finished
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Track record that proves you can outcome-focused ship under deadline pressure
  • A feedback-hungry attitude and eagerness to learn new skills

Most of American Express still fits in one Manchester building, and that high-growth closeness is exactly why its general work stays sharp. Every Server at American Express owns an outcome, not just a checklist of tasks.

Pay is $85,000 - $111,000, growth is structured, mentorship is personal, and the flexible part-time schedule is non-negotiable in your favor.
