The opportunity timeline

• Overview

TechCraft Inc is hiring a Senior Accountant in Eau Claire, WI.

• Role description

This Senior Accountant seat at TechCraft Inc rewards the person who asks why the variance exists, not just how large it is. The proposition holds together — $89,000 - $138,000, 7 years, a WI base, and ownership the rest of the market rarely grants.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable process
  • Settle expense reports fast enough that nobody chases you twice
  • Keep the WI unemployment and withholding accounts perfectly square
  • Coach senior analysts on how a clean reconciliation should feel
  • Validate revenue recognition in line with current accounting standards
  • Own grant compliance so TechCraft Inc never returns a restricted dollar
  • Forecast tax payments precisely enough to avoid an underpayment penalty

  What You'll Bring

  • 7 years that taught you which corners can be cut
  • Hands-on Financial Reporting experience that survives a whiteboard interview
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders at every level
  • Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
  • The communication discipline to over-share early and trim later
  • The discipline to document while it's fresh, not after it's forgotten
  • A heads-down-and-happy attitude and eagerness to learn new skills

TechCraft Inc is a gloriously-unglamorous engineering shop in Eau Claire, WI where Hyperion and Journal Entries are treated as the same discipline. We reward the teammate who unblocks three colleagues over the one who quietly hero-codes alone.

In return for your Team Leadership expertise, you'll earn $89,000 - $138,000 along with 401(k) matching and flexible remote options.

As of right now, TechCraft Inc is still reading every resume that lands here.
