The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Financial Advisors Plus is hiring a Security Engineer in Logan, UT.

• Role description

We don't need a Security Engineer who knows everything about Time Management; we need one curious enough to find out what they don't. Count it up: 4 years, $79,000 - $107,000, a technology charter, and the kind of Financial Advisors Plus growth that compounds.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Trace a maker-minded technology bug across three Nmap services to the one bad line
  • Translate the collaborative CISM outage into fixes that make the next Logan launch dull
  • Profile Vulnerability Assessment memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Logan nodes
  • Replace the brittle CISM hack with a SAML solution that survives Logan scale
  • Stand up observability so Financial Advisors Plus sees failures before customers in UT do

  What You'll Bring

  • The grit to debug at 4pm on a Friday without complaint
  • A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your technology expertise
  • At least 3 years of standing behind your own estimates
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy

Financial Advisors Plus was founded on a hunch that technology could be far less awful, and Logan turned out to be the perfect place to prove it. Around here, "I don't know yet" is a perfectly respectable sentence and often the start of something good.

We back $79,000 - $107,000 with a growth ladder, a mentor invested in your Decision Making, and benefits that travel with you across Logan, UT.

New candidates are being screened right now, so timing is good if you apply today.

Got the drive and the Nmap? we'd love to see your application.
