The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Pinterest is hiring a Publisher in Gainesville, FL.

• Role description

The Publisher role at Pinterest is open because Gainesville is growing, and Negotiation is suddenly our busiest department. The proposition holds together — $53,000 - $81,000, 3 years, a FL base, and ownership the rest of the market rarely grants.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Map the handoffs between FL teams so nothing falls in the cracks
  • Write the Negotiation runbook the next hire wishes they had
  • Read a Leadership system you didn't build and improve it anyway
  • Convert Public Speaking chaos into a backlog someone can actually work
  • Resolve customer concerns with patience and a focus on outcomes
  • Keep the temporary schedule realistic when everyone wants everything yesterday
  • Anticipate the FL compliance wrinkle before it becomes a fire

  What You'll Bring

  • Meticulous attention to detail across every deliverable
  • A communicator who writes the meeting recap nobody asked for but everyone reads
  • Familiarity with Presentation Skills and related tools or frameworks
  • An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent
  • A learner's pace that keeps up with shifting requirements
  • Comfort being accountable for a generously-mentoring outcome in a temporary role

As an ego-light leader in general, Pinterest draws top talent to its Gainesville, FL headquarters. Ownership runs deep here: you'll own outcomes, not just tasks, from your first week as a Publisher.

For this Publisher role we offer $53,000 - $81,000, a mentor who has walked the path, and benefits designed for life outside Pinterest.

Fresh as of this morning, Pinterest marked the mid-level seat available.
