The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Ford is hiring a Public Relations Manager in Kent, WA.

• Role description

Our Kent, WA office has an immediate opening for a Public Relations Manager with strong Work Ethic experience. What sets the offer apart is trust — $120,000 - $170,000 and part-time hours are nice, but the general ownership is the headline.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Apply Coaching and People Management to solve day-to-day operational challenges
  • Turn ambiguous Coaching requests into shipped, measurable outcomes
  • Keep People Management documentation current as the work outpaces it
  • Partner sideways with teams who rarely sit in the same room
  • Keep a steady hand on Ford accounts when volume spikes
  • Deliver data-honest results that align with broader business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Ford to hit shared goals
  • Convert Coaching chaos into a backlog someone can actually work

  What You'll Bring

  • A portfolio that speaks louder than any line on your resume
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated knack for making the small-but-mighty feel manageable
  • Real proficiency with Coaching, plus willingness to learn Prioritization fast
  • 8 or more years steering general projects end to end
  • Enough Work Ethic to be dangerous, enough Prioritization to be trusted
  • A bias toward asking the dumb question before the expensive mistake

Plenty of firms claim to do general; Ford actually does it, and from Kent no less, with a playfully-serious stubbornness about quality. We move fast on Prioritization but slow down whenever someone says they feel rushed past good judgment.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $170,000, comprehensive health coverage, and a clear path to grow into senior general work.

We are prioritizing Persuasion talent right now and reviewing resumes as they arrive.

Tell us about the ambitious project you're proudest of when you apply for this Public Relations Manager seat.
