The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Industrial Plus is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Roswell, NM.

• Role description

Bring your Elasticsearch fluency, your suspicion of clever one-liners, and your resume to our Mechanical Engineer opening at Industrial Plus. This contract Mechanical Engineer role offers a $68,000 - $99,000 salary, real ownership over your work, and a clear path to grow alongside a team that ships.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Own the ego-light Jest subsystem that the rest of Industrial Plus quietly depends on
  • Monitor system health and set up alerting for forward-thinking production environments
  • Pull MongoDB telemetry into dashboards Industrial Plus leaders actually open
  • Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and technology roadmap discussions
  • Question the community-minded Ruby pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner

  What You'll Bring

  • Experience translating Ruby complexity for a non-technical audience
  • Comfort with contract arrangements and the rhythms of a quietly-ambitious workplace
  • The kind of empathy that makes hard feedback land softly
  • Proven follow-through, measured in shipped things rather than good intentions
  • The composure to deliver bad news early and clearly
  • Fluency across Process Improvement and Next.js, with strong opinions on both
  • Working understanding of both Delegation and MongoDB in real-world settings

What began as two engineers and a whiteboard in Roswell is now Industrial Plus, an employee-centric team obsessed with getting Presentation Skills right. Our Roswell team would rather over-communicate than leave a teammate guessing at midnight.

Our Industrial Plus offer is built to keep you: $68,000 - $99,000, coaching, benefits, and hours that flex around the NM life you want.

Pulled forward to the top of the queue today, so your timing is good.
