The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Media Advantage Corp is hiring a Java Developer in Conway, AR.

• Role description

Come build the backend that powers our remote-native products, writing Microservices that holds up under serious load. The proposition holds together — $76,000 - $98,000, 4 years, an AR base, and ownership the rest of the market rarely grants.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Read the GraphQL stack traces others skim past, and trace bugs to their root
  • Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
  • Break large technology initiatives into Go increments Conway can actually deliver
  • Stitch Flask events into the Microservices pipeline feeding Media Advantage Corp's technology reports
  • Negotiate Go tradeoffs with product when Media Advantage Corp timelines and reality collide
  • Decide when to buy Communication versus build it for Media Advantage Corp's Conway, AR stack
  • Champion engineering excellence and continuous learning within Media Advantage Corp

  What You'll Bring

  • Experience at the mid-level inside a contract role
  • Strong multitasking ability without sacrificing quality
  • A portfolio that speaks louder than any line on your resume
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated MySQL expertise in a fast-moving technology environment

Media Advantage Corp is the kind of flat-and-fast Conway company that technology engineers leave their old jobs to join. We assume good intent first and ask clarifying questions second, which keeps the documentation-first days drama-free.

This mid-level role pays $76,000 - $98,000 and surrounds it with coaching, coverage, and hours that respect your weekends in AR.
