The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Media Innovation Corp is hiring a Industrial Engineer in Montgomery, AL.

• Role description

Half craft, half stubbornness, our Industrial Engineer role asks you to make Rust systems behave under pressure they were never promised. Picture this: a temporary Industrial Engineer seat in Montgomery, paying $46,000 - $74,000, where 1 years of doing the work earns you real say over how it gets done.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core Media Innovation Corp products
  • Map data flow across Media Innovation Corp's Rust services and spot the leaks
  • Backfill Terraform test coverage on the riskiest corners of Media Innovation Corp's codebase
  • Defend Media Innovation Corp uptime through the 2 a.m. Montgomery pages nobody volunteers for
  • Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Cypress

  What You'll Bring

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Real Jenkins chops, plus the Go curiosity to keep growing
  • The integrity to flag your own mistakes first
  • 1+ years that left you with strong instincts and few illusions
  • A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Three things define Media Innovation Corp: a Montgomery address, a bias-to-action culture, and a near-religious devotion to Jest. We believe the best technology decisions get made closest to the work, not three floors up.

Our offer wraps $46,000 - $74,000 around mentorship, real benefits, and the kind of Montgomery, AL flexibility most technology roles only promise.

Newly timestamped, Media Innovation Corp keeps this junior opening on the active board.
