The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Graphic Designer in Ketchikan, AK.

• Role description

Most briefs are vague on purpose, and the calmly-fast-moving Graphic Designer we want at Booz Allen Hamilton reads that ambiguity as an invitation, not an obstacle. Picture $51,000 - $74,000, a full-time cadence, and 1 years of Affinity Diagramming translating into a junior seat you actually steer at Booz Allen Hamilton.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Convert vague craft-obsessed adjectives from a brief into concrete, defensible choices
  • Shape the unboxing moment Ketchikan buyers screenshot and share unprompted
  • Carry layouts from napkin scribble to press-ready file without losing the spark
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and editorial teams based in Ketchikan
  • Drill into analytics to learn which creative actually moved the creative needle
  • Keep current with Problem Solving and Affinity Diagramming to expand the creative toolkit
  • Set guardrails loose enough for junior creatives to surprise you inside them

  What You'll Bring

  • An eye for the ego-light detail that separates fine from finished
  • Knowledge of AK-specific regulations relevant to creative work
  • Eagerness to take ownership and run with new responsibilities
  • Willingness to commute to Ketchikan, AK or work flexibly as needed
  • A communicator who can disagree without making it personal
  • Willingness to relocate to Ketchikan, AK, or to make remote work

Long obsessed with Affinity Diagramming, Booz Allen Hamilton has turned a Ketchikan office into one of the bias-to-action centers of creative innovation in AK. We'd rather coach an unpretentious learner than babysit a brilliant jerk, every single time.

Yours for the taking: $51,000 - $74,000, a mentor, a benefits plan, and the room to grow your Affinity Diagramming and Problem Solving side by side.
