The opportunity timeline

• Overview

ViacomCBS is hiring a Frontend Developer in Garden Grove, CA.

• Role description

We don't need a Frontend Developer who knows everything about Relationship Building; we need one curious enough to find out what they don't. This Frontend Developer opening rewards 3 years with more than $108,000 - $157,000 — it offers a real grip on the technology direction at ViacomCBS.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the gently-demanding GitLab CI outage into fixes that make the next Garden Grove launch dull
  • Pair-program tricky Rust edge cases with engineers across Garden Grove, CA
  • Write the CI/CD integration tests that catch regressions before Garden Grove, CA ships them
  • Stand up observability so ViacomCBS sees failures before customers in CA do
  • Drive the Rust incident postmortem that stops the Garden Grove outage from recurring

  What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated capacity to mentor or support mid-level teammates
  • A keen eye for quality and consistency in your output
  • Strong working knowledge of Rust and Tailwind CSS
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, proudly-imperfect environment
  • Strong time-management skills and a bias toward action
