The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Business Solutions Group is hiring a Data Engineer in Bossier City, LA.

• Role description

The Data Engineer chair at Business Solutions Group is for builders, not bystanders, with $68,000 - $106,000 attached and Scikit-learn on the daily menu. This Data Engineer role hands mid-level talent $68,000 - $106,000, a remote arrangement in LA, and the latitude to call the shots.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Own data integrity across Business Solutions Group's Communication stores so Bossier City numbers never lie
  • Tune Scikit-learn queries until the LA database stops timing out under load
  • Trace a craft-obsessed technology bug across three Statistical Modeling services to the one bad line
  • Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity and velocity
  • Ensure code quality through automated linting, testing, and static analysis

  What You'll Bring

  • The discipline to finish the boring 20% that makes the rest matter
  • A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
  • Pattern recognition earned across many technology engagements
  • Curiosity that outpaces your current job description
  • The kind of curiosity that reads the docs before asking

The team at Business Solutions Group is small, remote-native, and entirely convinced that Bossier City is the best place to reinvent technology. We pair junior and senior folks on purpose so BigQuery knowledge stops hoarding in one head.

Here you earn $68,000 - $106,000 while a dedicated mentor helps you grow from mid-level into ownership, all wrapped in benefits worth keeping.

Recruiting for this remote position is happening in real time, not on a backlog.
