The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Procter & Gamble is hiring a Cloud Engineer in Rio Rancho, NM.

• Role description

We're hiring a Cloud Engineer for the unglamorous, essential work of making Serverless fast enough that nobody notices it at all. We offer $79,000 - $109,000, a clear growth track, and a team where your 5 years of experience genuinely move the needle.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Pull Procter & Gamble's Serverless stack out of the NM region before the migration deadline
  • Trim Procter & Gamble's cloud bill by right-sizing the Disaster Recovery infrastructure in Rio Rancho, NM
  • Question the relentlessly curious Grafana pattern everyone copied and propose something cleaner
  • Turn vague technology tickets into crisp, testable Jenkins acceptance criteria
  • Carry a quietly-excellent Grafana feature through code freeze without breaking Procter & Gamble stability
  • Mentor the mid-level cohort through their first real Grafana on-call at Procter & Gamble
  • Own the full lifecycle of technology systems from prototype to production
  • Translate technology compliance rules into Jenkins guardrails baked into the build

  What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on command of Adaptability, with Serverless as a close second
  • Strong time-management skills and a bias toward action
  • 5+ years that left you with strong instincts and few illusions
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Procter & Gamble turned a frustration with technology into a hardworking business that now serves customers far beyond NM. We onboard you to the technology mission first and the Disaster Recovery tooling second, in that order.

We provide a $79,000 - $109,000 salary, full benefits, and dedicated time each week to learn new Disaster Recovery and DNS Management tools.

Last touched this morning, the Cloud Engineer listing remains active and unfilled.

Don't wait for the perfect moment to switch into technology work, because it's right now.
