The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Eaton is hiring a AWS Engineer in Burbank, CA.

• Role description

Eaton keeps a small, opinionated engineering team in Burbank, and the next opinion we need belongs to an AWS Engineer. The $113,000 - $164,000 is the floor, not the ceiling; with 5 years and technology ownership, this Eaton role keeps rising.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Tune Amazon EKS caching so Eaton survives the Burbank launch spike on the same hardware
  • Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Prioritization
  • Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity and velocity
  • Reverse-engineer the people-first Flexibility format Eaton inherited and never documented
  • Pair with technology analysts so Eaton's Amazon EKS models match real behavior
  • Pair CKA Certification and Ansible in a pipeline Eaton can extend without your help later

  What You'll Bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfort steering technology conversations toward a decision
  • Working understanding of both Ansible and Emotional Intelligence in real-world settings
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Out of a converted warehouse in Burbank, Eaton has quietly grown into a proudly-nerdy force shaping how technology gets done. Trust is the default setting at Eaton; you have to actively spend it to lose it.

Salaries here begin at $113,000 - $164,000, complemented by stock options, learning budgets, and weekly one-on-one coaching.

Right now is a strong time to apply, as our review queue is moving quickly.
