The opportunity timeline

• Overview

Netflix Studios is hiring a AI Engineer in Kent, WA.

• Role description

If shipping reliable software at scale excites you, our AI Engineer opening in Kent, WA is worth a serious look. We're looking for 1+ years of Excel; in return you'll get $69,000 - $107,000, ownership, and a team worth joining.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Own the quietly-relentless Model Deployment subsystem that the rest of Netflix Studios quietly depends on
  • Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Excel
  • Automate the manual Self-Motivation chores that quietly drain Kent, WA engineering hours
  • Stitch Power BI events into the Model Deployment pipeline feeding Netflix Studios's technology reports
  • Translate the small-but-mighty Excel outage into fixes that make the next Kent launch dull
  • Scale data pipelines processing millions of events with Generative AI

  What You'll Bring

  • A growth mindset and openness to constructive feedback
  • Calm under the flat-and-fast chaos a junior role tends to generate
  • Familiarity with Netflix Studios-scale workflows, or the appetite to reach them
  • A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
  • Experience translating Self-Motivation complexity for a non-technical audience

Trusted by businesses nationwide, Netflix Studios operates an outcome-focused technology platform from its Kent base. We onboard you to the technology mission first and the Self-Motivation tooling second, in that order.

Come grow with us: $69,000 - $107,000 to start, a mentor to guide, benefits to lean on, and hours flexible enough for Kent living.
